Ralph M. Slocum was born and raised in Palo Alto, CA but has lived in the central coast since 1982. His father was in Venture Capital and his Grandfather a Stock Broker. Since 1987, Ralph has worked in the financial services industry. In fact, he actually completed his initial brokerage training in New York City coincident to the October 1987 market drop and was on the NYSE trading floor that very day.
Ralph’s resume includes major wall street firms such as Dean Witter Reynolds, Morgan Stanley and UBS where he served high net worth individuals and institutions as Senior Vice President of Investments, Senior Consultant of Managed Accounts, and Financial Consultant. In addition, he served as supervisor to dozens of his fellow brokers over the past 20 years. While at these firms, Ralph received specialized industry training from institutions including the Wharton School.
Ralph is a Cal Poly, SLO alumni (Go Mustangs! - 1986 Business Management concentration). Ralph and his wife, Anne, have been married since 1987 and have four children. He enjoys snow skiing, soccer, wine tasting, travel, inspirational quotes, and our beautiful central coast.
